Garden News

The garden is growing and growing and growing.  And this lovely rain is softly helping it along.  Rachel starts or plants new crops every day and we feel we are really keeping a great schedule for early abundance.

All of are plants are grown organically. No pesticides or fertilizers are used to help them along. In addition, all our plants are loveingly started from heirloom organic seeds.

So far, in the garden, we have broccoli, cabbages, onions, kale, mesclun mix, radishes and beets.

Our lovely cold frames are housing our heirloom tomato seedlings of every color under the rainbow.

While we do not do a CSA we do post our weekly available produce via our email list. There is a pick up day from the farm and a weekly drop off in Charlotte.

We are planning on having a very large flower garden this year with edible and ornamental varieties. We will be offering fresh bouquets throughout the summer.

We will also have several varieties of lettuces, kale, spinach, specialty gourmet greens, cucumbers, hot and sweet peppers, peas, beans, eggplant, summer squash, zuchini, brussel sprouts, carrots, rutabaga,  and herbs.

In addition we will be selling our herbal tea mix and fresh sauerkraut, and hopefully some fresh baked goods!

Please come see us in the garden, we would love to show you around.
